On Thursday Kenneth drove to Birmingham with a group of other Mustang lovers from
Michigan, Illinois, and other places
North. The event was the Mustang
Club of America's 30th Anniversary.
This photo is from a rest stop just outside
Cullman, Alabama.

Here's a shot from the
road. It's tough to see,
but there are ten Mustangs
in line. There were twelve in all.

Swimming Anyone?

Michael and Emily took swim
lessons again this year. Just like
last year, Frankie was never
far from Michael's side.

We love the noodle! It is
a great way to stay afloat
and still be able to practice
kicking and arm movements.

Both Michael and Emily came
along way this year. Emily
figured out how to doggy
paddle early in the summer
and Michael has just figured
it out. Yeah! This makes
Mom happy and more relaxed
about them in the pool. It
gave us the confidence to let
Emily jump off the diving
board without a noodle and
swim to the side of the pool.

Just A Few Pictures

Emily received this outfit and matching
outfit for her doll, Marisol, for her birthday.
She had lots of fun last Saturday dressing up.
Quite a hit!

We got Peanut all cleaned up for pictures and
decided to do a bit of riding. Michael had
a great time. All he wants to do is trot.

Emily had a good time once we put her on
the lungeline. She has a hard time with
Peanut. He wants to eat, and she can't keep
his head up. Very frustrating!!

Granny's Birthday Photos

A couple of weeks ago my grandparents
went to North Carolina to watch their
youngest son compete in the 2006
USA Masters Outdoor Track & Field
Championships. He competed in the
Men's 100m Hurdles (36 in.) in his age
bracket. I am so proud of my Uncle
Steve for getting back into the sport
he competed in while in high school!
Way to go Uncle Steve!!

While there my Granny enjoyed an
impromptu birthday celebration! Julie
emailed these photos and I wanted to
share them with everyone.

I'll bet Kaitlyn got to blow out
Granny's candles.

This is Granny and Grandaddy with their
son Steve, his wife Joyce, their son Steven
with his daughter Abbie and his wife Julie
with their daughter Kaitlyn.

Disney World at Christmastime

Well it is time to delve into the archives.
This weekend was a total bust. We did
absolutely nothing. Between the weather
and being under the weather we didn't
have any opportunities for picture taking.
This past Christmas we were able to go
on a wonderful trip to Disney World. We
went on the cruise for the first 3 days
and then to the parks for the last 4.
What heaven!
These are photos from our days in the
parks. Lots and lots of character greets!

This was the 4th time these two have
been to Disney World. Can we say
"spoiled"? Anyhoo, this was the
first time we've ever seen Donald except
when he was duded up for Animal Kingdom!

I don't think we'll ever forget this trip.

What a great way to spend the holidays!

Who can resist Sorcerer Mickey?

Our Day In Vermont

We went to Vermont last Saturday. The day
was beautiful. These pictures were taken at
Stratton Ski Resort. It was so much fun to go
up the gondola in the summertime.

I wish Michael's picture looked more like Emily's.
What a view!

Baseball, Bears and Beauties!!!

Baseball Hall of Fame

Today is Granny and Grandaddy's
anniversary. Have a good one!
Kenneth and my Mom took Emily
and Michael to The Baseball Hall Of
Fame in Cooperstown,NY on Friday.
Michael was in his element. Emily
had fun, but didn't enjoy it nearly
as much as Michael did.

Who do you think fits in better?

Williamson County Fair

Last Tuesday we went to the 2nd annual
Williamson County Fair. It was loads of
fun, but extremely hot! I was practically
pouring water down the kids throats.

Here are a few photos of some of the fun!

Last But Not Least......

Emily had her family birthday party Saturday
night. Her theme was "The Birthday Girl" and
boy was she! She was ready for it! This cake was made by our favorite baker,
Dimples, and was perfectly matched
to the party napkins and tablecloth.
It was strawberry swirl. Yummy!
Make a wish!

Here is Emily comin' up for air
from under the table.

Workin' hard to open those presents.
Michael tried on Daddy's racing helmet.
I think he was ready to go race!

Emily Celebrates # 7 With Her Classmates

On Friday I took cookies and soda to Emily's
class to celebrate her birthday. Another girl
in her class was born on August 3rd and she
brought in a cookie cake on Thursday.

What a week!

This is a picture of Emily with her teacher,
Mrs. Swor while the class sung to her.

Mrs. Swor is reading to the class
during the last few minutes of the
day before dismissal.

Emily's Bowling Them Over

Emily celebrated her 7th birthday
with some of her closest friends
at the local bowling alley.
Emily getting ready for a strike!

Michael was all over bowling.
Here he is ready, willing and able to
send the bowling ball down the lane.

Michael and his best bud, Frankie.

Jim, the boy who holds
a special place in Emily's heart.
I can see why.

Group Photo. Everyone had a great time!
