Williamson County Fair

I'm still trying to catch up on pictures.
Here are a few from the Williamson
County Fair back in August.
The kids had a great time, even
though it was extremely hot.
Emily has lost one of her
front teeth and the other one
is hanging on by a thread. I
call this one snaggletooth!
Vroom, Vroom!

Emily and Michael both entered
a piece of the clay creations in the
fair's competition. Emily got 5th
place. She was so proud and loves
her ribbon....pink of course.

Dollywood

Michael, Emily, Kenneth
and I went to Dollywood
in August with Frankie
and his Mom, Gina.

We had a great time! Poor
Emily was sick and constantly
had a high fever, but she was
such a trooper and had a good
time inspite of being sick.

Poor picture taking, but it
definitely shows the boys
having a good time!

Best Buds!

Emily showing off her
climbing skills.

Our little monkey, Michael!
The kids were so excited
that they could drive these
cars by themselves. The
result was that Kenneth, Gina
and I also drove by ourselves.
I spent the whole time trying
to take pictures and let the car
take care of itself!

Dollywood has a large
eagle sanctuary. We got
to see a show that had a lot
of different birds featured.
They saved the best for last.

Isn't he beautiful!

I love this picture!

St. Louis Trip

These are some pictures from
our daytrip to St. Louis after
John's and Starla's wedding. We
drove down on Sunday and spent
Monday morning at the children's
museum called The Magic House.
Let me tell you....it was a blast.
(I think it is pretty obvious from
the following photos!)

There was a three story
slide that the kids really
enjoyed. Here comes Michael!

John and Starla were
busy building race cars!

Pizza anyone? The museum
recreated lots of everyday places
for the kids to play in. There was
a post office, ice cream vendor,
grocery story, home, pizza parlor,
electric company, tv station (which really
broadcast the kids on the tvs in the
museum) and a host of other activities.

Emily is busy checking out her
grocery order.

Michael had a big time building
buildings in the construction area.
He left just enough room for his
face to poke out!
Three great friends in the making!
Cheese.....
Johnny is climbing up into
the tree house.

If you ever get to St. Louis,
I highly recommend a trip to
The Magic House!!!

Emily's 8th Birthday Party

Emily invited 3 of her third
grade friends to go to
Chuckie Cheese with her to
celebrate her big day.

Last year Emily, Hannah, Emma
and Rachael were all in second grade
together. Hannah and Emily are in
the same class this year.

Here she is....full of hot air!
As you pedal this bike the bike
rises up in the air. It takes a lot
of work and pedaling to get it and
keep it up there.

All smiles....I guess she had
fun! Happy Birthday Emily!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Hi all. Sorry to have not been posting anything
recently. I tried a couple of times and Blogger wasn't
working with me. Life has been a bit crazy.
Emily started 3rd grade and Michael started
Kindergarten. Whew! It has been quite a change.
Trying to get Michael used to going to bed at 7:30,
packing two lunches, gathering two backpacks worth
of stuff and doing homework every night (things
changed in Kindergarten since Emily was there 3 years
ago....homework!). Whew!!!! Something had to give,
and this blog was it. Doesn't mean I wasn't taking
pictures. Just means I have a lot of
catching up to do. Look for lots of posts in
the next few weeks.
Love and Posts!!!

Wedding Photos

More wedding photos....since
I took around 500 pictures
you are only seeing a select few.

Groomsmen....How handsome
they all are. Wow, they clean
up good!

Just the four of us....

Joyners all spiffed up and
ready to stand up for the
bride and groom.

Michael refused to smile.
Hannah looks great!

Not long now....ready to
walk down the aisle.

Rehearsal Pictures

Here are some more wedding
pictures....but all from the
rehearsal on Friday night.

Bride and Groom learning
their parts.

Michael was the minature
groom in the wedding. Here
are the two grooms together.

Emily was the flower girl
and Johnny, John's new
step-son, was the ring bearer.
Emily felt her dress straps
were to long and went around
all night with her shoulders up
to her ears.

Johnny and Michael are
already good buddies.

I call this one...Mr. GQ!

Wedding Photos

Just a couple of quick photos
from John's and Starla's
wedding this weekend. More
to come tomorrow!!!!

Emily's First Pony Club Camp

Emily has spent the week out
at Percy Warner Park stabled in
with her pony Rain for her first
Pony Club Horse Camp.

Here she is on Rain. Isn't
that a cute walk?

Emily took her first jumps
yesterday. She did really
well and except for looking
down in this picture, her
form is pretty good!

AARGH!!!!!

A couple of weeks ago the kids
went to Vacation Bible School.
This year's theme was.....
"AARGH"
Aware
Answer
Repent
Grace
Him This is at the Friday night
closing program. The kids
were separated out by the
Children's Church (Michael)
and by Junior Church (Emily).
They sang songs they learned
during the week and performed
the movements with the song.
Many of the movements
incorporated sign language.

Emily and Michael won
a few of the raffle items
including two captains hats
and a pirate bandana.

They got to share them with
Mimi and Grandaddy!

Mema and Aunt Sherri came
and enjoyed the performance

Pirate Emily!

It's Swimming Time in Tennessee

We had a great time in the
pool last week. Emily is
driving our new hovercraft.
It really drives and is steerable.

Michael got it for his birthday
last year from Gammy. The
kids think it is terrific.

Michael in his hovercraft.
I love this picture...looking
back over his bony shoulder.

Smiles!!!!
Emily can't and won't open
her eyes until she can get
her hands out of the water
and wipe her eyes.

Michael at the Park

At the beginning of June
I took Michael and Frankie to our
local park. Boy did they have fun!
Here are some photos
of their day!
