Utah!!!!!
in Utah this year. We definitely
improved a lot and quite a few
firsts happened!!!! Everyone
braved the terrain park at Sundance.
I even did the table top. I decided
that once was enough. Emily and
Michael kept going back for more.
I found two black diamond runs
that had been groomed and we
tackled them. The kids skied them
like they were little beginner runs
and they had no trepidation about
skiing them. I was so proud. The run at
Sundance was definitely the hardest
thing that the kids and I had ever
skied. It was awesome!!!!
We also had our first fall that
resulted in Ski Patrol being
called. Michael got cocky and
went into some fresh powder
with to much speed and he ended
up somersaulting in the snow. He
came up screaming. Emily went in
after him, promptly fell and came
up crying. I skied down to them
and took my skis off and went into
them. I knew if I skied in, I'd been
down with them. We didn't know if
it was serious, so Ski Patrol was called.
Everyone was fine when it was all said
and done. Michael hurt his back just
a bit, but bounced back and skied the
rest of the day with a little more caution.
I was fine with that!!!!!
Michael had a great week. He issuch a natural skier. I wish he
wasn't so fearless though!
Emily is a great little
skier. She improved a lot
this week and we had lots
of fun!!! She really tries
to take our suggestions and
improve her technique.
racing postitions!
This was taken at Snowbasin
on one of the few pretty days
we had. Lots of snow and for
those who love powder...it was
great. For those of us who don't
it proved to be challenging.
Toothless Wonder!

they'll be here before we
know it! We start in 2
weeks with orthodontic
work!!!! My pocketbook...Ouch!
Finally....we are toothless
on top. He has two more

come out soon....he definitely
will be the toothless wonder!
We're back!

Christmas Day With Lots of Family
treat of a visit from my nephew
Stephen on Christmas day for
a couple of hours. It was the
first time to meet his step-
brother, Jonathon. Emily
and Michael were ecstatic
to see their cousin.....they
love him so much!
Four generations of Doerter
men. That's a lot to handle
at one time!
Another four generation
shot. Granny helps to
tone down the testosterone
that was flowing throughout
the house!

UT Vs. UAB
Time for picture all in orange
and white! To bad the season
looks like it won't be a great
one. Oh well, we have fun
win or lose!
Waiting for the Vol Walk.
It was so hot on this game
day. We were sweating
buckets!!!!
You can't see her orange
cast in this picture. She has
it behind Michael. It is
flourescent orange and man
is it bright!
Here come the cheerleaders!
This is the Volunteer. He is
dressed up like Davy Crockett
and is at all the games.
what the team does win or lose...I
think he is a great coach and a
wonderful asset to the University.
Tailback Arian Foster
Quarterback of our 1998
National Championship Team:
Tee Martin. He was waiting
for all the guys on the Vol Walk
and gave lots of hugs and
encouragement to the team
as they made their way to the
stadium!
